Syiah Kuliah University (USK) from Banda Aceh, Indonesia, has upgraded their GIS lab with equipment acquired through the UN4DRR project. This upgrade included new equipment as well as purchase of data processing softwares for Disaster related cartography, modeling and simulations. It is expected to contribute to the modernisation of GIS and remote sensing for disaster management courses delivered at USK.
