A training session organized jointly by the European partner universities, IPB University and was Universitas Syiah Kuala successfully conducted from 25th July to 29th July 2022 in Iodonesia. This training was attended by all the partner universities f the UN4DRR project.
The first two days of the training were held at IPB University in Bogor focusing on Development of agricultural environment damage assessment in Indonesia, Forest fire, Forest Fuel Mapping using LiDAR, Raising crisis readiness with introduction of emergency risk indicator computation, Sentinel for peat and puddle and drone demonstration.
The remaining sessions were held at Universitas Syiah Kuala in Aceh, which focused on curriculum development, disaster education, disaster risk analysis and assessment, Remote Sensing and Spatial Planning.
