The first technical training for the year 2023 will be held at Maldives National University in the capital city, Male’ and the Dhigurah island from the 29th of January to the 3rd of February 2023.
Similar to the previous training sessions partner universities from Asia and Europe will conduct several sessions on various topics relating to geospatial technologies for disaster management. Team members from the partner universities will travel to Maldives and spend about a week attending these sessions where they will use the newly established Geospatial Lab at Maldives National University for hands on exercises using various geospatial applications for disaster management.
